Orion-SurgEx Environmental Technologies is a highly specialized engineering-contractor providing a uniquely selective range of specialty services to industry, public-utility, municipal and government entities. The company’s unique capabilities are centered within a scope of expertise that encompasses the environmental remediation, and utility-safety services we firmly believe we know best. We don’t profess, or attempt to “do it all”…..and readily refer clients to other firms with a particular capability we may not possess in-house. However, with respect to the specific services we can provide with our intrinsic knowledge-base and physical resources, we believe we can offer a select group of customers with the most technically competent, highest value, and most favorable results for any environmental or utility-safety expenditure allocated by our clients. As with any mature service or product market, suppliers typically transition from a concentration on quality and performance to development of a commodity-driven, price-sensitive product or work product to compete, and to obtain an increasing share of the available market. Our basic philosophy is underwritten by an admitted concentration on providing very specific, but typically critical functions in the environmental and utility-safety marketplaces that demand near perfection, and the highest degree of personal attention and specialized expertise available.

The Orion-SurgEx^® capability is the culmination of nearly 35 years of hands-on, technology-driven field application of various environmental remediation and utility-impact experiences across a broad geographic territory, occurring in virtually every known geologic formation in existence in the eastern United States. A substantial benefit to every client that we elect to support are the anecdotal remedies and processes we have applied with varying degrees of success, and the depth of experience to know what worked, what failed, and why. Our experience profile spans practically the entire developmental and evolutionary history of the subsurface environmental remediation and utility-impact services industry, a benefit which can only be measured in terms actual results and the near-elimination of redundancy in solution applications. While there will always be a rigorous continuation in the improvement of process and application at Orion, drawing upon a tremendous depth of previous experiences will generally eliminate the trial and error expense in both time and capital.
