November 15, 2007: Robert W.
Beeman joins Orion-SurgEx as Operations
Manager, Environmental and Utility-Safety Services. Bob
assumes overall responsibility for all Orion-SurgEx field operations
personnel, equipment resources, and safety-protocol maintenance
among the operations staff. Mr. Beeman is a 20-year veteran in
the environmental and mechanical contracting industries, and brings
a wealth of experience, creativity, and multi-disciplinary abilities
to the organization.
January 15, 2008: David Searles
named Resource Supervisor for Orion-SurgEx.
Dave assumes overall responsibility for the company’s equipment
resources, as well as directing site operations in any situation
where the company engages in engineered site work and construction.
Dave joins the company with 20 years experience in heavy equipment
operations, engineered site development and infrastructure build-out.
Dave is also a licensed subsurface waste disposal system specialist,
and supervises the installation of all injection, leachate, and
wastewater drainage systems for the company.
February, 2008: Orion-SurgEx
signs a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Konover-Atwood Mechanical
Contractors, Inc. for Surgical Excavation®
services in connection with the company’s natural gas pipeline
maintenance contracts in Southern New England and Eastern Pennsylvania.
Orion-SurgEx will expose all valve
stations and transfer junctions as well as lengths of buried gas
piping that require maintenance, replacement, or repair.
March 17, 2008: Orion-SurgEx
obtains provisional approval on a patent for a well-reconstruction
process that is used to rebuild long-term sampling/monitoring
and remedial pumping wells, which has significantly reduced contamination
levels in sampling wells that have reached stasis due to fouled
annular packing. Final evaluations for up to three individual
patents are being made for the process, as well as for the special
tooling developed by Orion-SurgEx.
March 21, 2008: Michele
A. Oulette, SHRP joins the Orion-SurgEx
team as Manager, Human Resources and Associate Services
to spearhead the company’s recruiting initiatives, provide
guidance and career planning services for Company associates,
and to maintain, update, and review the company’s official
Associate Handbook. |
